The recent onslaught of Typhoon Kristine, also known as Severe Tropical Storm Trami, has left a devastating impact on numerous communities in Luzon. The storm caused widespread landslides and massive flooding, affecting thousands of Filipinos.
Although the floodwaters have gone, many communities are still in dire need of assistance. Relief organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross are working hard to provide aid, such as food, shelter, and medical care.
To support their relief efforts, we have donated Php 286,689.00 worth of essential home care and personal care products to the Philippine Red Cross for those who have been badly affected by the storm. Products include our multi-purpose cleaner, L.O.C., Glister toothpaste and toothbrushes, and our Achievers Coffee Mix and Premium Cocoa Mix.
We have also given our Red Cross volunteers cases of XS Energy Drinks to help them during the relief distribution.
While we are grateful that none of our employees were directly impacted by the typhoon, we recognize the challenges faced by a few of our business owners in the affected areas. We extend our support to them as well. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted through this tragic event.
